Derryl A. Sangster, age 76, of Strawberry Lane, died Saturday in the E.R. at River Hospital. There will no services per her request.
Derryl was born August 29, 1939, in Watertown, the daughter of Malcomb and Jane Brown Sangster.
She attended Watertown High School, and graduated from Holland Patent High School.
Derryl worked for a number of years in the Accounting Division at Griffith Air Force Base in Rome until its closing. She became a hair dresser for a time, and also worked for the former N.J. Curri Oldsmobile.
She enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles.
Derryl is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Janine (Dennis) Spinolli, of Oneida, and Candace (Raymond) Chapman of Utica; nieces and nephews.

I got to know Derryl through delivering lunch meals to her. She was always happy and laughing. She told me about her family that she loved. I will miss her smiling, happy spirit.
