Mr. Lyndon C. Haas, age 67, died Tuesday at his residence, where he was under the care of his family and Hospice of Jefferson County.
Lyndon was born June 24, 1948, in Watertown, the son of Carl and Myra Burn Haas. He attended Belleville Schools.
He married the former Christi Ann Rivers, August 8, 1998, in Watertown.
Lyndon worked for a time at Frinks Snowplow in Clayton, also in Florida for a time, the DPW for the Village of Chaumont for 4 years, and for a number of years he was a residential painter around the area.
He enjoyed fishing, spending time in his boat, and painting pictures.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his mother Myra, of Lowville; one stepson, Scott (Heather) Taylor of Clayton; two brothers, Milford (Della) and Gerald (Jaye), both of Chaumont; nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, February 13, at 11am, at the Christian Life Center in Chaumont. A Spring Burial will be at New Cedar Grove Cemetery in Chaumont.

Went to school then in the Army basic training with Lyndon and he was a great guy. Haven’t seen him since then but will always remember our good times. I’m sure he will be missed by all that knew him.
