The Funeral for Linda M. Lowe, 69, who died April 19th, in Syracuse, will be held 3pm, Saturday, April 28th, at the T.R. Jetty Funeral Home in Clayton. Calling hours will be from 1-3pm prior to the Funeral Service. A reception will follow at the Clayton American Legion Post 821.
Linda was born May 2, 1948, in Alexandria Bay, the daughter of Gene (Frenchie) and Betty Albicker Ransier.
She graduated from T.I. High School.
On October 5, 1968, she married Stephen Lowe, at the Clayton United Methodist Church.
In her younger years she worked for the Clayton Tent Factory, and for over 40 years she worked at Natali’s C-Way Restaurant in Clayton until having a stroke in 2009.
Linda was a member of the Colon Couch Post 821 Ladies Auxiliary.
She enjoyed murder mysteries, eating Hershey drops, and she enjoyed helping out by working at various functions at the Depauville Fire Hall and the Clayton American Legion.
Surviving besides her husband Stephen is one daughter, Mrs. Bruce (Tona) Dano of Clayton; five grandchildren; one great granddaughter; two brothers, Charles (Cindy) of Myrtle Beach, and James of Redwood; nieces and nephews.
One son Timothy Lowe died August 5th, 1996, at age 25, and two brothers, Allen in 1972, and Michael a few years ago, died before her.
Donations can be made in her name to the Clayton American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 821.
