Mrs. Irene M. Landers, 66, wife of Harry, formerly of Lakeland, died Monday, August 20th, at Samaritan Medical Center after a short illness.
Irene was born May 25th, 1952, in Syracuse, the daughter of Fulvio and Mary Pellizzari Balduzzi. She graduated from Solvay High School.
While in Lakeland, she was self-employed as a beautician.
Surviving besides her husband, is her son Charles “Erik” (Leanne) of Lakeland; three grandchildren, Devon, Nate, and Torri; one brother, William Balduzzi of North Carolina; one sister, Patricia “Aunt Pat” Piano of Lakeland; nieces and nephews.
At her request there will be no calling hours or funeral services.

I’m sorry for your loss. Irene was such a very nice person. When I was a Freshman in High School, Irene was a Senior. She introduced me to her friend “Budda” who was in his 5th or 6th year of High School. She said to him, “This is my cousin Mike Pellizzari. You be nice to him”. First and last time I saw that gentleman. I’m sure her introduction save me a couple of “Just because” butt-kickings.
