Dee was the sweetest woman. I enjoyed visiting with her on the phone and taking her to appointments. I feel very blessed to have known her.

Demaris was a relative of ours, she was such a lovely person, kept to herself and didn’t ask much of others, as she lived a simple life. Remembering a wonderful lunch she had put on for myself, my 2 Aunts and my Mom ,it was truly wonderful ! Will miss talking to her on the phone and miss her beautiful cards that she always sent out even with her poor eye site. May you rest in peace still we meet AGAIN !

My condolences to all who loved her.
I never met her in person but I have one of her beautiful cards she sent to me in 2016.
I contacted her while working on genealogy. She wrote a sweet note & sent a couple pictures of herself & John Mourik (my family’s great grandfather)

She was a neighbor of your family for years. She was always so nice… I would drive by and she was almost always in the window…I still catch myself looking for her.. so sorry for your loss…

I knew Dee briefly when housesitting for her next door neighbor in spring 2024. I enjoyed our daily chats during the two weeks I was there and loved her sense of life and persevering style.
I am sure she was a joy to her family and those who knew her well! My condolences upon her passing.
