Mrs. Linda A. Scales, 80, died April 30th at Albany Medical Center Hospital, where she had been a resident for a week.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Linda was born March 9th, 1944, in Watertown, the daughter of George and Erma (Ingerson) Brigham Sr. She graduated from Clayton High School.
On November 18th, 1972, she married George Scales Jr. at the Stone Church in Depauville.
She was a housewife and caring mother, raising her children. Linda was a longtime member of the Depauville Methodist Church and enjoyed crocheting in her free time.
Surviving besides her husband are four children; George McCarter of LaFargeville, Michelle Scales of Depauville, George Scales III of Corning, Robert (Genesis) Scales of Alexandria Bay; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and one brother, Robert of Las Vegas.
Linda is predeceased by one son, David McCarter; one brother, George Brigham Jr.; and three sisters, Mary Getman, Francis Pickett, and Florence Lewis.
Donations can be made in her name to the Depauville Methodist Church.
