Mr. Robert (Bobby) A. Dennie III of Clayton, formerly of Cape Vincent, passed away on June 4 at St. Josephs Hospital in Syracuse. Per his wishes there will be no services.
Bobby was born August 26, 1964, in Watertown, the son of Robert A. and Marion Horton Dennie. He graduated from T.I. Schools.
He worked as a cook for over 20 years at Aubrey’s Restaurant in Cape Vincent. He also worked part time in area green houses.
Bobby enjoyed doing crafts and going to yard sales, he especially loved traveling to Germany, Cancun, and his favorite month-long trips to Ireland.
Surviving is one brother, Lance Massia of Arizona; three nieces and great nieces and nephews.
One brother Gaylor, predeceased before him.

Excellent cook, if Bobby was cooking there was no need to go to another restaurant, you knew you were going to get a great meal. Memories of Bobby bring a huge smile to my face. He lived a few doors down from my oldest sister’s place, and those visits were always special. The Halloween tradition of getting those scrumptious popcorn balls from his house was something I looked forward to every year. They were truly amazing!! Then, I started working at Aubrey at the age of 14 and spent a few wonderful years alongside Bobby. His optimism was contagious, and his happiness was an inspiration to all. He will greatly missed!! Rest in peace Bobby!!
