There are no words that I can say to bring comfort to your family during this time of grief. I only hope that the numerous kind words that people share mean something to you. For me Bob or “Brownie” as I called him made me laugh with the funny comments or facial expressions that he made. I know he was always came to share a mean or lend an ear. He will be greatly missed!

When I first heard the dreaded news, I took it in stride. And then it hit my heart. One of my best childhood buddies is gone… I never got to tell him how I really felt or that I wish I could go back to those childhood days when we hung out down by “The River”. Bob is my friend and I hope God gives me the opportunity to tell him how I really feel about him.
Rest in peace my friend, I miss you.

I was so shocked and saddened to read that Bobby had passed away – far too young. I’ve been away from the 1000 Islands for almost 35 years, but moved back – to Clayton – 2 years ago; enjoyed my 40th reunion, and have thought often about everyone in our Clayton class of ’72. I remember Bobby playing football, and wrestling, and being president of our senior class. He was a great guy with a wonderful, magnetic personality. My deepest sympathies to his family.

My prayers go out to Bob’s family. He was a great inspiration and training partner when I got into serious bodybuilding back in 1980. We had ridiculously tough workouts and he was very knowledgeable about the sport. He was very outgoing and well-liked by everyone. I will ensure our church here in Delaware, Holy Rosary, has a Mass for him. God bless you big man.
