Pat Shaffrey was, quite simply, the warmest, kindest woman I’ve ever known. She always appeared to be filled with joy, and her sunny smile could make anyone’s day brighter. I hope your sorrow can be lessened by knowing she and Michael are together again.

Wishing the family strength during this time. She was a very kind, warm, and understanding person. To allow a bunch of kids run around and mess up her house and have a big smile on her face the whole time is a wonderful memory. I trust that her smile is even bigger now that she is reunited with Mike.

Blair & Linda Combs family
From a personal standpoint, Pat was a wonderful, warm and loyal sister. We have lost my last sister and true friend to the Alabama family. Pat was a Christian and deep believer in Christ. We know where she now resides. God has already blessed her and keeps her in his arms. I will see her again one day soon.

Though contact was lost over the years she was never forgotten. Especially when I think of where I got my love for the Beatles (now pasted to my daughters). I remember her babysitting me when I was 4 and what seemed like, playing them throughout the day and we would dance ๐ She always seemed like she never had a care and always a smile. My Mom and sister sadly shared the news. Sorry we didn’t make the services. My prayers are that each of you would have the peace that only Jesus can give.
