We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Barb. In Aubrey’s Inn there is a picture of the old Aubrey’s grocery store before it burnt down hanging on the wall, and in this picture is a women walking in front of the store, and I bet you can guess who that women is, YUP, it’s your Mom!!! Many people ask me if I know who the women is in this picture and I say, that’s Barb Wood, but I have to tell you, she must be pretty well known, because you wouldn’t believe ALL the people that say “I know Barb”. If you haven’t seen it you should stop in and check it out, it’s pretty cool. Great picture! Sending prayers to each and everyone of you that held such a special place in your Mom’s, Grandma’s, Great Grandma’s, and Great, Great Grandma’s, heart!!

It is a blessing to have a mother and grandmother that loved the Lord and lived by those principles. May memories and lessons she taught bring comfort now and in in future days when you think of her.

Very sorry to hear of Barb’s passing. She and your father were great friends of my parents and I can still hear them laughing when they got together. We all learned how to play cards by watching all of them! May the happy memories be a comfort to you during this difficult time.
