To Roger, Peggy, Gordie, Gene, Francis (and Autumn; we’ve never met but I remember Wayne, R.I.P.): I am so sorry to read of your mother’s passing. I remember all of you from Clayton Central School (me, class of 1972). (I’ve lived in NYC and San Francisco school, from 1975 to coming back to live in Clayton 2011.) I’m sure I met your mother many years ago; I remember what a great, strong, family you are; much credit to your (late) father and mother. It is very sad to lose one’s mother. Sending our condolences to the Winters family, it is difficult to lose a Mother, Grandmother, and sibling. Remembering so clearly seeing Jane, Ida and Dora walking to the diner and post office, or Francis taking her for a ride past our house. She didn’t leave this world unloved that was evident. Prayers to Jane and her family.
