Mrs. Jessie D. Elliott, age 74, of LaFargeville, died Thursday, Oct. 13, at River Hospital, with her family and friends at her side.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 18th, at 11am, at Orleans Corners Evangelical Lutheran Church with Rev. Alan Ferguson officiating. Burial will be in Redwood Cemetery.
Jessie was born February 28th, 1942, in Watertown, the daughter of Kring and Frieda Klock Payne.
She attended LaFargeville Central School.
On June 26th, 1965, she married Wesley Elliott in Watertown. Wesley died November 23rd, 2013.
Jessie sold Avon products for many years.
She was an avid pet lover who spent her life caring for her pets as well as any strays that came around. Jessie loved taking care of her flowers.
Surviving are two sisters, Linda (John) Marriam of LaFargeville, and Susie (Daniel) Steacy of Great Bend; many nieces and nephews.
Donations can be made in her name to the Jefferson County S.P.C.A., 25056 Water St., Watertown, N.Y. 13624.
