Mrs. Mildred I. (Peterson) Reed, 81, died January 3rd at Samaritan Keep Home. There will be no calling hours or funeral. There will be a Spring Graveside Committal Service in Clayton Cemetery.
Millie was born July 7th, 1936, in Lacona, the daughter of Aldis and Lena Hatch Johnson. She graduated from Theresa Schools.
A marriage Richard Peterson ended in divorce. She then married John Reed, who passed away. Then married Frank Reed, in September of 1997 in Calcium.
Millie and Frank lived in Kingsport, Tennessee, where she worked as a Nurses Aide. They moved back to Clayton after retiring.
She enjoyed baking, sewing, gardening, and was an active church member.
Surviving are besides her husband are three sons, Richard, Chris (Diane), and Lance (Karla) Peterson, all of Clayton; three daughters, Sissy (Mike) Colello of Watertown, Debbie (Stan) Beh of PA., Sally (Jerry) Fedele of Webster; 15 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; four sisters, Joyce (Paul) Steele of Florida, Margaret (Kenneth) Grindle of Oklahoma, Sharon (Carlos) Gudino of Oklahoma, and Barbara (Gardner Jr.) Cross of Felts Mills; nieces and nephews.
One brother Richard Johnson, and one sister Jean Venton, died before her.

Lance and siblings: So sorry to hear of Millie’s passing. Not only was she family, but I worked with her at the Bay hospital. Whenever I need assistance with a patient in X-ray, she always appeared with a friendly smile , helping however she could. She will be missed.
