All services for Robert H. Berkman of 37853 NY State Route 180 LaFargeville will be in the spring. Mr. Berkman died at the Samaritan Medical Center on February 26, 2018. He was 76.
Bob was born in Watertown, New York on June 17, 1941 the son of Harold and Margaret O’Rieley Berkman. He graduated from LaFargeville High School in 1959.
On October 26, 1962, he married Barbara Ann Wagner in Watertown.
Mr. Berkman worked as a truck driver for Gilco Trucking until his passing.
Surviving is his wife of 55 years Barbara; his two sons and daughter in law Bradley Berkman, Andrew and Louann Berkman, and his daughter and son in law Mrs. Cortland (Tammy) Reff, all of LaFargeville; his six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Mr. Berkman is pre deceased by a son Robert Berkman and a granddaughter Kylea Rae Berkman.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to Hospice of Jefferson County.
Arrangements are with T.R. Jetty Funeral Home, Inc. in Clayton.
