Mr. Alfred F. Lawrence, 49, of Syracuse, formerly of Alexandria Bay and Theresa Area, died July 1st at his residence. The funeral will be held Friday, July 12, at the Thousand Islands Christian Church in Plessis, at 11am, with Reverend Gene Brown officiating. A burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Theresa.

Alfred was born April 30th, 1970, in Canton, N.Y. His adoptive parents were John and Audrey Davis Lawrence. He attended Alexandria Bay High School.
He worked at various places as a waiter, as well as for various construction companies.
Surviving is one daughter, Danielle Lawrence, of Lockport; his biological father Fred Davis Sr. of Richville; nine sisters, Audrey Grega of Plessis, Carol (Daryl) Burt of Tennessee; Beverly Burt of Utica; Cherry Bushey of Tennessee; Donna Benjamin of Syracuse, Joanne Ludlow of Plessis; Kimberly Shaffer of Hermon; Chastity Davis of Richville, and Melinda Schisgler of Gouverneur; seven brothers, Kenneth Boyd Jr. of Theresa, James Boyd of Theresa, James Stevenson of Tennessee, Howard Davis of Redwood, Carleton Stevenson of Lisbon, Fred Davis Jr. of Chase Mills, and Fred Davis III of Richville; nieces and nephews.
