Mr. Stephen D. Hetzler, 77, Chaumont, passed away Wednesday, August 12th, at the Hospice of Jefferson County.
Calling hours will be Monday, August 17th, from 3-5pm at the T.R. Jetty Funeral Home in Clayton. Burial will be held in South Carolina.
Stephen was born March 27th, 1943, in Rochester, N.Y., the son Herman and Rosamond Kuhn Hetzler. He graduated from Rochester schools.
He entered the United States Army of August 1963 and was Honorably Discharged in August of 1966.
In February of 1965, he married the former Eileen Swartz.
Stephen worked as a Dispatcher, running an assembly line, at Lockheed Martin, in Planfield, N.J., retiring in 1986.
He enjoyed fixing all kinds of things, including electronics and mechanical devices.
Surviving besides his wife Eileen, are two sons and their wives, Michael (Christina) of Utica, Michigan, and Christopher (Theresa) of Summerville, South Carolina; two granddaughters; 6 brothers and sisters, all from Rochester; nieces and nephews.

Sincere sympathies from the family of Steve’s brother, George Hetzler (Sarasota, FL). Steve and Eileen lived across the street from us on East Lake Road in Livonia for several years “way back when” Rosamond Kuhn Hetzler resided next door.
