Mr. Joshua J. Perkins, 30, of Watertown, died December 9th, at his residence.
Joshua was born August 3rd, 1990, in Watertown, the son of Edward and Beverly Salisbury Perkins. He graduated from 1000 Island Islands High School where he was a member of the National Honor Society.
He worked with his dad for a while as a metal salvage worker and was employed by Northstar Scrap & Metal in the Town of Pamelia at the time of his death.
Josh enjoyed scrapping various metal objects and collecting metal trinkets.
He is survived by his mother Beverly (Richard) Branch of Chaumont; his father, Edward Perkins of Watertown; his maternal Grandfather, Alexander Salisbury of Chaumont; his fraternal Grandmother Francis Rivers of Watertown; brother EJ (Edward III) and his wife Ariel of Watertown; and some nephews.
His sister Janelle passed away in 2019 at age 27.
A burial will be held next year in the Depauville Cemetery. Due to Covid-19, a Celebration of Life will be held later next year.
Donations can be made in his name to a local organization of one’s choice that deals with suicide prevention.
