Mr. Alexander (Felix) J. Bishop, 74, died Friday, June 2nd, 2023, at his residence.
Calling hours will be Saturday, June 10th, from 10am until 1pm at the T.R. Jetty Funeral Home in Clayton, followed by a short service.
Alex was born September 5th, 1948, in Watertown, the son of Raymond and Matilda Murdie Bishop. He attended Lyme Central School.
On July 20th, 1974, he married the former Kay Lyndaker at the Lowville Presbyterian Church. Kay passed away August 13th, 2022.
Alex worked as a welder at Frinks Snowplow for 32 years, until it closed. He then worked for a time for the Village of Cape Vincent and was also a substitute bus driver.
He is a former member of the Sons of the American Legion.
Surviving are three daughters, Heather (George) Sanford of Depauville, Carrie (Tim) Narrow of Clayton, and Kasie (Tom) Schultz of Henrietta; seven grandchildren, Hunter, Blake, Jena, Breanna, Dominick, Lani, and Gage; nieces and nephews.
One brother Meade and one sister Linda pre-deceased him.
