Mr. Steven J. Clark, 67, passed away August 7, at River Hospital where he had been a patient a short time after battling cancer.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.
Steve was born May 8, 1958, in Alexandria Bay, the son of Norman (Barney) and Marjorie Switzer Clark. He graduated from Thousand Islands high School.
On September 27, 1980, he married Judy Perruccio at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Msgr. Herbert H. Hannah officiating.
He worked in the family dairy farm until 1987 and then he worked for various construction companies in the area as a carpenter. A few were Bach and Company and Ken Rogers Construction.
Steve enjoyed deer hunting, riding his Harley, gardening, and spending time with his family.
Surviving beside his wife Judy, are two sons, Steven (Joanna Becker) Clark Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia, and Mark and his companion Whitney Bogart of LaFargeville; a daughter, Ashley Clark of LaFargeville; two grandchildren, Ezekiel Bogart, and Nevaeh Clark; one brother, Gary (Jackie) Clark of LaFargeville; two sisters, Katherine Fitchette and Gail Ramsey, both of Rochester; nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he is also predeceased by a sister, Marilyn Buckley.
Arrangements are with the T.R. Jetty Funeral Home in Clayton.
