Mrs. Ann Brown, 68, formerly of Alexandria Bay, now of Clayton, passed away March 2 at Upstate Medical University. There will be no services at this time.
Ann was born September 19, 1957, in Honolulu Hawaii, where her dad was stationed in the military. She graduated from South Lewis High School.
On September 16, 1989, she married Patrick Brown in Adams Center, with Justice of the Peace Donald Shaw officiating. The couple lived in Redwood for a time, 12 years in Alexandria Bay, before moving to Clayton.
She owned and operated a Home Health Care business in Utica before meeting her husband. While in Redwood she operated a Daycare Center from her home. After moving to Alexandria Bay she had her own cleaning service, worked at the Alexandria Bay Laundry Mat, Pine Tree Point, and she was a Property Manager for Private Vacation Rentals.
Ann enjoyed sewing, baking, camping, watching car races, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving is her husband Patrick, four daughters, Tiffany Marie (Jerry) Rogers of Plessis, Crysta Brown of Cape Vincent, Rae Shelmadine of Illinois, and Shi (Tim) Lathom of Oregon; one son Greg of Oregon; and fourteen grandchildren.
