Steve was a happy go lucky guy. I known him since I was a kid growing up in Depauville. I would run into him at the Depauville Post Office and we would catch up from the last time we seen each other. And he would always ask me if I was busy and if I had alot of work lined. Always had a smile on his face when I would run into him. He will be missed by all that knew him. Rest in peace my friend. God bless, Bernel Kempney.

Steve was such a happy, loving, caring man. It truly was an honoring knowing him and his wife through “The Wright Diner.” If you ever felt down, he sure knew how to pick you right back up. He surly loved his hugs as well. Thank you for the years of laughter, countless hours of conversations, and always supporting us at the diner. Steve you will surely be missed. ❤️❤️

My Dad taught Stephen welding at BOCES. He was one of his favorite student! I remember as a kid going out to house for picnics, and going to his parents house in Lowville, as I remember. My Dad thought the world of him, I hope they see each other in heaven and talk about their welding memories!! So very sorry

So sorry to hear that Steve has passed away. He was a great person always with a smile ready for you. In the days I tended bar at O’Briens he was a frequent “stool warmer” along with the regular Frink’s crew. I always will cherish the memories of Steve, Linda, Tona and Tim stopping by. RIP dear friend.
